Welcome to the Keep Trucking Safe blog. We intend for this blog to be an idea sharing avenue – an opportunity to share “what works” with other truck drivers, trucking safety professionals, trucking company managers, and others who are concerned about the health and safety of truck drivers. Safety solutions or questions regarding risks common in trucking would be the priority. We want this blog to serve as a portal to real, open, and honest communication. That said, this blog is moderated using the Keep Trucking Safe Blog Comment Policy presented here.

We expect participants to show respect and consideration to the authors and others using the blog. Participants must comply with applicable policies, regulations, and laws. All comments will be reviewed before posting. We will not post vulgar language; personal attacks of any kind; offensive terms that target specific groups; or unsupported accusations. We will not knowingly post comments that infringe on copyrights, are spam, are clearly off topic, advertise services or products, or could be construed as lobbying. We reserve the right to edit comments. Comments that promote a specific brand will be edited to add alternatives. If no alternatives can be found, a generic term will be used to describe the product or service. Documents and attachments will not be posted on the blog.

Importantly, comments from individuals outside of Keep Trucking Safe do not necessarily represent Trucking Injury Reduction Emphasis  (TIRES) or  Labor & Industries (L&I) policy or the views of L&I. References to products or services do not constitute an endorsement by Keep Trucking Safe, TIRES, L&I or the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
