CourierA recent article in Transport Topics discussed how the increase in online shopping and direct from the manufacturer deliveries are affecting the way business is done in the trucking industry.

Some companies have been increasing Saturday deliveries and investing in truck-mounted forklifts to aid in delivery.

 

As a consumer, this is great news. I no longer need to own a pickup truck because all those big items can now be delivered to my door or, even better, to the room of my choosing.
